DARK DISCO | 2008-

Dark Disco is an Ottawa-based DJ collective that likes a bass-drenched dancefloor, bumping hips, and beats that are fierce but sweet.
Watch for a series of events kicking off in fall-2008 with a rotating lineup that includes Mr. Bump, Jas Nasty & Cyan.

W.O.W. MTL | 2005-2008

A network of women djs, producers and performers who seek to explore the boundaries of electronic music through collaboration and cross-pollination. We hosted some of Montreal's finest parties in 2005 and 2006, and have now refocused our energies on new projects.


phoniq | 2004-2006
Phoniq is a collective of individuals dedicated to promoting bleeding edge electronic music by Canadians, with an emphasis on exposing talent that has not yet been exposed inside or outside of Canada. The concept for Phoniq has grown over the past year from the initial ideas of how to create a viable promotional vehicle for Canadian artists in electronic music into an active community mailing list, a net-label and resource tools. All of these aspects are in place in order to help the community to network and grow. In general, Phoniq has created a portal that should prove useful for anyone working in electronic music in Canada.

MXXR | 2003-2004

MXXR is a group of women sound producers based in Montreal. Between us we are musicians, DJs, sound designers, radio artists and engineers. With the support of Studio XX, the group came together in the summer of 2003 to share skills and equipment, to undertake collaborative endeavours, and to foster an environment of open exchange among a loose community of women working with sound. To date the group has participated in two events at Studio XX: Les Journées de la culture and Art's Birthday 2004, as well as a streamed performance to radiostadt 1, a temporary independent radio project in Dresden, Germany in September 2003. We have also held workshops for each other on various software applications and Linux installation.
